Community empowerment focuses on building the capacity of community leaders, groups, and organizations. The so-called capacity dimensions have been developed into specific capacity dimensions. Within these conditions and environments, it can be understood that there are at least three or four dimensions, each with several possible levels. Consequently, the potential strategies for empowerment services provided by professionals are significantly more nuanced and in-depth than traditional community development.
This differentiation of capacity dimensions and the hierarchical units of empowered individuals will make empowerment strategies and actions more logical and evidence-based, resulting in scientific, logical, and professional approaches.
